This is the time of year when we are reminded to
GIVE THANKS.
I loved that this year we each had the opportunity to express what we are grateful for by placing a leaf on the Thankful Tree.
The tree was covered with leaves filled out by each member of the family. What a wonderful way to GIVE THANKS this Thanksgiving day.
THANKS to this family
we had a wonderful THANKSGIVING celebration in the comforts of their home.
Surrounded by family (and our rain man friend) we enjoyed a delicious feast.
A special THANKS to Miranda for capturing so many wonderful pictures as I was a bit busy with a boy who was so very THANKFUL that he decided to take a nap.
He didn't even wait to put his spoon down.
Some of the pictures Miranda captured included a timeline of Jimmy.
Tell me if you notice anything funny about each of these photos.
Is it weird that he only closes his mouth when the food is about to go in?
ha ha ha
After dinner there was plenty of fun to be had!
Some kids like to play with cars
Jack likes to play with DVD's... go figure?
I think the kids were the most THANKFUL when this blow up playhouse appeared.
And the bigger kids were certainly THANKFUL for a TV to watch the football game on.
I was THANKFUL for a tradition that carries on.
We had our very own
Pratt FamilyTurkey Bowl
While the men might have been THANKFUL for no shave November,
I'm pretty sure the wives will be THANKFUL when December 1st arrives.
THANKSGIVING
is a day to be surrounded by those you love.
To give THANKS for the memories you share.
And to look ahead, with a THANKFUL heart, to the many ways that we each are blessed.
This THANKSGIVING was definitely a day to remember.
I'm THANKFUL for each of you and the memories we shared.
Now let's all be THANKFUL for Black Friday and the money we will save.
Or do we actually spend more?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
