Here are some Step By Step instructions on How To Post
When you pull up the blog 15 Happy Pratts
you need to scroll down a bit and on the right hand side you will see this
Click on the word Blogger - it should highlight yellow when you click on it.
Next to this wording you will see an orange square with a pencil type thing in it.
Click on that orange square.
WAHOO!!! You have arrived. Now you can create your own post.
POST TITLE:
At the top of the page it says Post title in Grey
This is where you fill in the name of your post.
Then you begin typing.
ADDING PICTURES:
The tab bar seems pretty self explanatory.
The important tab to find is the small square with a mountain picture. If you click on this one you will be taken to a page that will allow you to add pictures to your post.
You have a couple of options regarding where to pull your pictures from. The button I use is the
choose files button.
This will allow you to pick pictures from files on your computer.
Once you have uploaded your pictures the next step is to select the photos that you wish to add to the post. You click on the photos and they will highlight in blue. You can click on several at a time. A secret is to remember that the order you click on them is the order they will appear on your blog.
Once the picture is on your blog post you can click on it to choose several option. Size (lease choose the x-large format - we want to see you!) and placement (I always choose center)
POST SETTINGS:
The final step before you publish your post is to make sure that you correlate the correct date with the events that you are blogging about.
On the right side you will see a list of items under the heading POST SETTINGS.
SCHEDULE - this is SO important. If you do not change the date in this schedule setting the it will automatically put todays date. It would be best to put the date that the event occurred.
FINISH:
Once you are ready to post add your post to the blog you will hit the PUBLISH button (it is the big orange button) This will add your post to the blog. When you do this it will bring up a box asking if we want google to do something with it. Click cancel on this choice.
